Lately I’ve been commenting extensively on artificial intelligence and mental illness. Well, in this piece, I get to combine them and talk about both. I’ll be detailing some of the technology that already exists on your smart watch, and others just around the corner; which will be powerfully instrumental in monitoring and even treating many psychological conditions.
Much of what I’ll be getting into I, in fact, learned from a book that was just published on May 4th. It’s entitled We Can Do Better by David Goldbloom, A professor at the University of Toronto. Per the subtitle, it’s all about Urgent Innovations To Improve Mental Health Access & Care.
